In an effort to support animal health and welfare, The Lao P.D.R Ministry of Health and its development partners will distribute 30,000 free doses of Rabies vaccines across the country. An average of 8,528 dog bites are also reported annually in Laos and this highlights the importance of rabies surveillance and control.
